Abathur's chitta (Hydralisk merged with Xel'naga essence) were destroyed during the One Day War. The adostra were psionic dreamers which created life around them while sleeping on the planet). While Abathur was busy helping the zerg to evolve at the instructions of the Overqueen Zagara, a protoss vessel landed on Char which is now filled with life just like the planet Gystt (due to the presence of the Adostra, a peaceful species which was tracked down by Zagara and modified with the Xel'naga essence). Although the Adosta latent psionic powers exceeded that of the Protoss, they are a non violent species which slept permanently.This was one thing the Abathur hated. Creation of more of them would demand the acquisition of more of their original species to be modified, as well as more xel'naga essence. To respect Kerrigan's wishes that the zerg never assimilate the essence of the xel'naga, and because xel'naga essence cannot be replicated by the Swarm, the adostra lie outside Zagara's direct control they have no connection to the hive mind and cannot be bred by the zerg. Knowing that Dehaka enjoyed collecting essence, and will forge alliances when it suites him, Abathur secretly waited and ploted. Abathur, the evolution master once launched a rebellion and while obeying every orders of Zegara without question, he was plotting another rebellion in his thoughts. In spite of this, peace is only a lull before another threat arrives. The zerg lived in harmony with the Protoss Golden Armada and the Terran Dominion. Ten years after One-Day war, Zagara was still the Overqueen of the zerg swarm.
